ユース育成 The overall styling of the watch is modern, or futuristic, to be more precise.It's hard to believe it's been two years since SIHH 2019. The SIHH fair is, of course, no longer with us, having been replaced by the larger Watches & Wonders link showcase in 2020. The first was last year's 50mm Deep Sea Special, the mega dive watch that obliterated the water-resistance record. And now this week we have the Yacht-Master 42, which unlike the DSS is sized so that a normal human being could conceivably wear it.</br>
Today, color, texture, and design are sine qua non features which bring a watch into line with up-to-the-minute looks.It is in the Accessories Salon that you will find the objects that many of us often forget exist not only in the Cartier catalog, but in the world at large too. I am talking about mignonette clocks of palladium and silver, and of lacquer and lapis lazuli. I'm talking about limited edition silver and palladium pens with solid gold nibs. These are the things that make Cartier so special.DG: I didn't really see this pocket watch until my mom brought it over on a recent visit. It belonged to my great-grandfather, Harnam Singh, and has his initials "HS" engraved on the back. Thanks to HODINKEE, I learned that it is a pulsometer. This makes sense as he was a doctor in Badrukhan, a village in the province link of Punjab.The hour markers are also smaller, which makes the dial look more like the old Zenith Daytonas. Together, these changes make the dial feel slightly cleaner and balanced. Otherwise, the colors on the dial – white and black and that red "Daytona" text – seem the same as the old ceramic Daytona.</br>
Frankly, most probably thought Eric and Charlie were crazy to take repeated gambles on such out-of-fashion watches.But it's a real-life decision for someone you might've seen in the link news lately.Even 30, 40, or 50 years from now, you will still be able to wear and wind it.</br>
